What freshman do you think will make the biggest impact of the year next season?
I think by the end of the year Barbour will be a serious threat. He gives us another offensive weapon, can create for himslelf and others, and is very versitale. From what I here he can do it all: score, rebound, pass, handle the ball, and play mulitiple positions. So imo Antwain will do a lot for us next year kind of like Fitch in his freshman year, only I think Barbour will be a little more noticeble in the box score.

Biggest impact----The one who scores the most. (I know, pretty weak)

I think the biggest impact teamwise will be five players playing as a team next year. Sure wish Prince was going to be here for just one more year.

Hey!! Thank yu there KY Kid. Good to be here and looking forward to it. The freshman who's name I can not spell or pronounce that was scoring about 40 points a game in high school is going to fun to watch. Hope he comes on strong. If Bogans and Parker have real good seasons and it takes some of the pressure off him, maybe he will really develop. Heck, I would be real happy if he only scores twenty eight points a game. As a freshman I would not expect thirty mind you. I think Tubby has recruited some players that will fit in real well.

I can say it, but I can't spell it. I guess I wouldn't be too upset if he only scored 28 a game.

Thanks Spam Hate. Azubuike. That's the guy. How I could forget a name like that is beyond me. Must be from Eastern Kentucky, never heard of that name down in Texas. That's my choice for newcomer of the year. KY Kid, you mentioned some real good choices, looks like it will be fun comparing how they all do. ;D ;D

Hey, hey, hey. Don't blame that name on KY. He's from Oklahoma. Which is much closer to Texas than Kentucky. ;D

Oklahoma you say. Wow, that is close to Texas. At least it is on the other side of the Red River from my hometown. Wait just a minute, the guy now plays basketball in what I call hometown. Bet he will be a great player after all.

Well if its true about Hawk not playing because of grades (dont but it though) look for Stockton to be best player of the newbies because of all the minutes.
Otherwise Im gonna go with Kaz. I think Barbour will start but I think Kaz wil be sensational. We always have a super stud as a freshman.

Sorry for being a little slow this off season, but I cann't think who Kaz is. The newcomer of the year will make for good topic of discussion after every game. Seems to be lots of very good talent there. Of course I want to see them all do well, but I hereby put my nickel on that OK kid (formally know as Ozzy bookie). This is so early in the pre-pre season, the more we talk about them, the better they get. They should be very good by thye time the season starts. Go Cats.

So many possibilities.. Barbour could be the best, but he will be a Junior this season won't he? I'm stumped with what Tubby will do with the Barbour/Fitch situation. I think Fitch will start but it will be hard to keep Barbour on the bench!

Barbour needs to be an impact player, otherwise it may be really hard to replace Prince's stats. Hope somebody can provide his outside shooting and we can avoid those 5-6 minute stretches without scoring we have had the last few years. Otherwise, I look for more good but not great seasons.
