....who still believe in the power and urgency of prayer......it's been a tough week in my classroom. I've had one girl raped by her stepbrother, one young man who's single parent has left him alone with a soon to be repossessed house and no utilities, one student who attempted suicide and is on life support, and one who went to jail for defending his mother from a battering stepfather.
Please take a few minutes of your time a say a prayer for my kids and all the others who fight life each day. Then, thank God for your own blessings.
Thanks, MBH

Wow, that's very sad to hear, and I'll definitely be praying for those kids. It's tough enough growing up as it is. I just hate hearing things like this.

Satan has a very strong grip on our youth as well as a lot of other people who should be better prepared. Sad really. Our Churches have been separated so far from State that it's the "blind leading the blind" to a higher degree. And I'm not trying to be funny, I'm just saying it's reality.
Isn't this the country that was established by people fleeing religious persecution?
