Well all they had to do was stop them. If a team can't score any more than 3 points in 48 minutes of play then they get what they got. Play some D and score some points and don't lay it at the feet of the other team. I wish the Cats would beat every team that way. lol

Really guys? The coach wouldn't even pull his starters, or play slow-down ball, saying it would send a bad message to the other team. The losing team didn't even score until the fourth quarter and they also have a roster full of first time players. To me, sportsmanship did not exist during this game. But, unless it was your kids on that team, nobody cares about sportsmanship anymore. I mean we are talking about kids, not pro's.

Lawdog, you are right in what you say, but I can't blame the kids for playing their best and winning. That is what we teach our kids hopefully. It's never good to humiliate anyone (except Vols, Devils, Gators, and Holes), but at the same time I'd still want my kid to try their best. Hang the coach I'm ok with.

Yes sir, you have a valid point about trying your best and winning. I certainly agree with that. I think we are talking about two great things in that we should strive for excellence yet play with sportsmanship when it comes to youngsters. And to be fair, when it comes to Kentucky versus whoever, I like to see blowouts just like any fan. I am only pointing this out among these kids that are really young.
