UK’s mens tennis team advanced to the SEC championship finals for only the second time in the programs history earlier today. Kentucky dominated Georgia, winning all three doubles and the first singles match to clinch the victory 4-0. Individually, the matches were all closer than a 4-0 trouncing would indicate, but collectively it was enough for Kentucky to advance.
This was a rematch from earlier in the season, one which Kentucky lost 4-3. Congratulations to the Tennis team and No. 4 in the country junior Eric Quigley who won his singles match to clinch the victory before Georgia could mount a sufficient comeback.
