I'm glad he has been brought to justice, but there is a part of me that just feels uncomfortable feeling good about the death of another human being. Don't get me wrong; it had to happen and I know that.

Proverbs 11:10 A great scripture as all of them are, but I'm not so sure I'd consider the U.S. righteous. We consider ourselves a Christian nation (or at least the majority does), but sometimes our actions don't exactly look Christ like. I don't think there is a righteous nation on earth but there are certainly some righteous people.

I hate to admit it but, there are times when actions of others make me ashamed of this country. The lack of patriotism, combined with the relentless misinterpretation of the Constitution, makes me ill.

I agree that actions by the United States have caused certain groups to hate us. I also agree that our government is far from righteous. We need to pull out of many countries where we have bases and out of the affairs of other countries and....pull the money we just throw at other countries in "aide".
Having said all of that...Osama Bin Laden was a cowardly murderer of thousands of innocent people. I do not mourn in the slightest because of his death. I am happy, yes happy, that he is dead and it surely did not happen fast enough. I am a Christian, but I am not Christ. He's dead and I'm glad. Rest in pieces.

Bush stated 6 months after 9/11, after saying "the people that did this will hear from us soon" "well, I`m not concerned about Bin-Ladin, I don`t know if he`s alive or dead, I don`t really care, theres no major command looking for him"!!! O`Bama, when running for president said he would get him and HE did!!! When Republican President Dwight D. Eisenhower was leaving office said "I want to WARN the American people OF the "Industrial Military Complexd"!!! What he was warning us about was "people" starting WARS so the industry that supplies our military could make HUGE profits. How did "Halliburton" get a NO BID contract to supply our troops in Afganistan & Iraq??? Could it be because Dick Cheney was CEO of that company. He took a so-called LEAVE of ABSENCE while serving as Bush`s Vice President??? YOU tell me!!!
