"Is UK done for the Class of 2012? Well, not exactly. John Calipari has said he would like to sign one more player.
There are reports that the Cats are now turning up the heat on Philadelphia area prospect Amile Jefferson, who is thought to be leaning toward North Carolina State but has not made a commitment. There is still Torian Graham, but there are some eligibility issues there that must be addressed. There is also Mislav Brzoja, the Indiana guard who recently visited the Cats. Update: Should have mentioned Wright State guard Julius Mays who is transferring and reportedly considering UK, along with Michigan State, Purdue, Cincinnati and Michigan." From John Clay, Kentucky.com.
I still think UK signs two more players for 2012. Plenty of time before school starts!
NOTE: There is also a new name coming to the surface. Tony Trocha (Houston, Texas/St. Thomas) came to Texas from Colombia. He’s been in class for two weeks. During that time, the head coach from Texas A&M came to school as did assistants from Providence and Wichita State. Ohio State, George Mason and Texas have plans to see him soon.
“It’s kind of leaking out,” St. Thomas coach Danny Evans said of his 17-year old 6-10, 220 pound power forward. “I haven’t told anyone. He’s kind of leaked out a little bit.” May reclassify to class of 2012.
It just keeps getting interesting by the hour!

Mays has been offered:
According to Steve Jones of Rivals.com, Wright State transferring shooting guard Julius Mays has a scholarship offer from Kentucky and says the Kentuckyfs interest is ghigh.h If youfll remember, Mays played at NC State for two years, and when he visited in high school, he stayed with none other than Ryan Harrow, UKfs starting point guard headed into next season. Mays is a proven shooter who has one year of eligibility remaining and could start right away. With Mark Lyons heading to Arizona and Torian Graham unlikely to qualify, the 6f2 Mays is Caliparifs best chance at added depth to the much depleted backcourt. This past season, Mays led Wright State in scoring, averaging 14.1 points per game, including 42% from the 3-point line and 83% from the free throw line. Mays, who is also considering Purdue, Illinois, Michigan State and Pitt, has no problem coming off the bench if need be. In an interview with Cats Illustrated, he hinted at the team-first attitude which Cal prioritizes: gItfs not all about starting. Some of the best people in the world donft start. c If you get your opportunity to perform, thatfs all itfs about. At the end of the day, itfs about winning the game.h
