Thanks Jim. I wish Kaz played well tonight. I like hearing about consistency in player performance because that's the REAL evaluator on how a team will do.

The following is a paste from a thread over at KSR. Now you can read it, kid It was made by a poster named Electro Blue...
Tubby is a great coach. What the players did last year wasnt his fault. But maybe players will think twice before they start trouble because Tubby put his foot down HARD! Getting rid of our best shooter in Carruth like it wasnt a thang took some big coco Puffs!!!
Everyone, Cliff Hawkins has to pass summer school before anyone knows anything. The rumor about telling a camper is true. But it was only one camper. Wanna know who?
BABS' husband. I think everyone knows babs. Keith has confirmed at KSR that Cliff needs to pass summerschool to be eligable. But summerschool isnt that hard, I believe Cliff will pass and be ready.
Tubby is probably saying the things about Parker to get him to work and rehab harder. Jason Parker will also be ready!
Tubby will be back next year unless this year goes to all kinds of heck. I think UK will be great this year.
As for an assistant, Tubby doesnt need to pick one right now. Why would he? The new assistant cant do anything with the players until october. We already have our Tubby and Hanson recruiting. The time line is for Mid July so that gives 3 months to get use to the players and get things in order.
I also have a question BlueKat... Who would you replace Tubby with? Pitino? Donovan? ..Wait I have an Idea lets offer coach K, Tom Izzo, Roy Williams, or Jim O'Brien 4 million a year and hope one takes it. LOL. Unless we get a coach above, I certainly think it will take a coach 3x's longer to get adjusted into a program than Tubby. What if we get a Steve Lavin? that would stink.
I was majorly disappointed last year but it wasnt Tubby's fault. Tubby is awesome. I do agree with the strength and conditioning coach but it probably will end up being rock oliver.
Come on guys we have
Hawkins, Barbour, Bogans, Fitch, Stockton, KAZ, Camara, Estill, Parker, Hayes, Daniels, and Carrier.
GUYS WE ARE LOADED. Lets get excited, another year of beating UNC and UL is good enough for me if nothing else . But i have a feeling that Tubby is due this year!
GO CATS!

Well, Jim, I can say for sure it would not be Pitino. His shine for me started rubbing off his last couple of years with all the NBA hoopla and so-so recruiting. He really burned the bridge with some of his comments about the fans and then taking the UL job was the straw that broke the camel's back. Donovan, well, except for the one year he went to the title game, he has done worse than Tubby in the NCAA and with better talent. So, really he hasn't shown me much as far as being able to do better at least. With those two out of the way, I really wish I had a set favorite, but I don't. I think you hit the one problem; just about all the big name coaches are pretty well entrenched in their own programs and would be a very hard catch. Which Jim O'Brien are you talking about? The one at Boston or, I think, Ohio State? To tell you the truth, I would take either one. I may have to think on this more to put a definite list together because it could be that we may have to take a chance on a younger, not-so-experienced coach.
