I thought they were mandated to play? Oh well. Guess he doesnt want to get his rear beat by a mid major thats a better team, eh? The UK-UL game should be very interesting. Nothing like last season, but still entertaining.

I hear ya Tummygoat, I find it very interesting that they could play EKU a team they should be able to beat. But not WKU who could beat them. I do notice he has made his schedule a little stronger. He'll have them in the NCAA tournament come next March. ED

Pretty impressive non conference schedule. Pitino's is even scheduled to face up with JP and S. Alabama! I had no idea that that game was going to be scheduled this season. Would be nice to see Pelphrey beat his former mentor!
Ohio State Tennessee Indiana and possible Wake in a tournament.
Somebody's gonna have their hands full before conference games begin!

The UL schedule basically substitutes Seton Hall and Purdue for last year's Tennessee Tech and Oregon. Now, the fine print says past returns are no indicator of future results but last year's Sagarin Ratings for Purdue = 89 Hall = 111 and for Tech = 76 Ducks = 7. Jethro Bodine could do that math. more fine print: The above post is in no way to be construed as an endorsement of any ratings system. The Sagarin ratings was used solely as an example AND to ward off the BBJ evil spirits, which drone on and on bout accuracy and rattle their chains of bookie nookie.
Your mileage may vary. Offer subject to availability and prior sale. No substitutions please. All winnings are subject to taxes in both their home state, their state of mind, and my drunken state.
