The fate of exempt tournaments like the Coaches vs. Cancer Classic, the Maui Invitational and the Great Alaska Shootout could be decided Tuesday at a federal mediation meeting in Columbus, Ohio. Representatives from exempted tournaments and the NCAA have been summoned to Columbus to meet with federal mediating judge Algenon Marbley, a source close to the case told ESPN.com Monday. The decision was supposed to be Monday, but was pushed back a day More details here

I think its stupid to get rid of these tournaments and they better keep them. NCAA is making too many rules and not working to make college basketball more entertaining for the fans. who hires these people?

Good question Tummygoat.
If they touch these tournaments their will be a lot of disgruntled fans, and it will hurt college basketball.
