UK women's coach Mickie DeMoss already is making her presence felt on the recruiting scene. DeMoss, who was an assistant at Tennessee the past 18 years, picked up two high-profile commitments last week, including Knoxville South Doyle star Sade Buley.
The 6-0 senior is ranked as high as No.5 nationally by recruiting analysts and averaged 19.4 points, 7.1 rebounds, 3.2 steals and 1.5 blocked shots last season.
"I want to go to Kentucky," Buley told The Knoxville News-Sentinel. "From the first day I met (DeMoss), I really liked her as a person and as a coach."
UK also got a commitment from Chante Bowman, a 5-9 guard from Cass Technical High School in Detroit.

Immediate responses in recruiting with the first year as the coach. Barnhart did a great job on this hire! It won't be long till the women's team is battling for an SEC title or maybe better.
