The University of Kentucky women's basketball team will conduct the first of two exhibition games this season on Sunday, Nov. 2 at 2 p.m. in Memorial Coliseum against Athletes in Action. Admission is free.
Athletes in Action is a team comprised of former student-athletes representing colleges and universities around the country that travel to compete and share their message of Christ.
"We are really excited about our first exhibition game," UK Coach Mickie DeMoss said. "We've been working extremely hard in practice and this will be our first glance at our team in a game format. I'm anxious to see how we compete."
Kentucky's second exhibition game will be on Sat., Nov. 15 at 7 p.m. in Memorial Coliseum vs. Premier Players. UK will begin regular season action on Friday, Nov. 21 when it plays host to IUPU-Fort Wayne at 6 p.m. EST.
