On expectations…“Expectations are high, and I’m certainly not used to losing, and neither is my staff. It does not scare me- I would rather people have expectations than not care about what we’re doing. We’re here to compete and win. Winning solves a lot of problems, but no one’s expectations are higher than mine.” On next year’s recruiting class…“We knew this first-year recruiting class would either jumpstart us or we would be behind another year. I have just been really pleased with the kids we have coming in. It will be a top 10 class I imagine and we are still waiting on a couple of players to commit.” On selling out Memorial Coliseum…“I believe with all my heart that we can sell out Memorial. If we put a team on the floor that people are going to enjoy watching then we could put a really good crowd in Memorial. We’ve got our own facility here. It’s a great home-court advantage. Look at the tradition, the character at Memorial. Personally, I love Memorial. It has a warm feeling when you walk in it. With the retro thing in right now with the throwback jerseys and all that, we’ve been saying- we have a retro arena.”

I hope the Lady Cats eventually sell out Memorial as well. If I could I would go to every game, but living in the western part of the state doesn't give me that privilege.

Cuz' women work on their shot more than men do. Men work on dribbling and dunking. I know, it's sad.
