Kentucky Coach Mickie DeMoss started her new year off with a bang, getting an oral commitment from one of the state's top juniors on New Year's Eve. Kasi Galloway wanted to sign early to enjoy the rest of her high school career, said Pete Fraley, her Boyd County coach. "We sat down and talked about it and she said, 'Coach, no matter who else offers, I want to go to Kentucky,' " Fraley said yesterday. The 5-foot-8 point guard had interest from several Division I schools, including Florida State, Auburn, Western Kentucky, Xavier, Kansas State, Colorado and Ball State, Fraley said. Galloway, who previously went by Kasi Mullins-Galloway, is a Street & Smith Honorable Mention All-American the past two years and was an underclass All-Star in the Adidas Top 10 camp. She was named to the Herald-Leader's All-State Second Team last year and was ranked the No. 8 player in Kentucky in pre-season voting by coaches. Link

I believe that De-Moss is proving to be the best recruiter in the college basketball world....Not just in women's but just in college basketball.
