I've been searching Google news daily for any word from her as to where she's going to play basketball. Anybody have any information?
Just found this site and have been looking for somewhere where there seems to be some consistent posting about Mickie and the women's basketball team...glad to find this site!

Haven't even heard of her.
I am sorry to tell you that if you are looking for "Consistent" information on Mickey and the women's team then you may not find it here. There is some interest...but most of the interest is in the men's. Occasionally articles are posted on here.

She's a player from Sacred Heart and is considered a definite 'top 100' and some claim she's highly underrated. Currently, she's look at Western, Louisville, Florida and UK. She's also currently considered the top unsigned prospect.
I have gone over to the UK section on rivals.com and they don't have a separate board for women's bball and they probably get one post about 'hoops' every six months or so. I really haven't found any other boards to even look at. Scanning down the dates there seems to be more interest here.

Welcome aboard adam. I for one love women's basketball, and I have heard about Crystal Kelly. She's led Sacred Heart to three straight state titles. She's a 6'2 post with great scoring and rebounding abilities. As you say, I've read where her final three are UK, UofL, and Western. She will become a star wherever she goes. Hopefully here, but I think Mickie may already have a full class.
Kelly has a nice story. As a very young girl she would always go to the park and shoot hoops with her mother. She didn't really take basketball seriously at first. Her high school coach Donna Moir(KY COY) says that Kelly is a leader, and she is very outgoing with the younger players. She's even training an underclassman post player to fill her shoes next season.
I think it's safe to say, she's a good head on her shoulders.

I'd like to extend that welcome. Information about 'UK Hoops' are hard to come by these days but we hope to everyone in the loop if we can find the info ourselves. We're REALLY excited about the womens team and the excitement DeMoss brings to the table. Hopefully we'll have MUCH more information as it becomes available.
