Lets not forget our Lady Cats who are tipping it off as well soon. DeMoss and players were in attendance and participated in Midnight Madness as well. I really look forward to this years Lady Cat team !!!!!! I really think we will have a winning season this year, how about any of you ?

I say the SEC and rest of the nation better take notice. DeMoss is building a potential powerhouse program and the first footers were poured in the offseason. A Top 10 recruiting class coupled with a nice returning group is sure to excite.
It's time to shock the world!!!

I think UT, LSU, and UGA(all Elite 8 teams and final four in case of UT and LSU) are still ahead of us this season. But, we should be in the next level with UF and Vandy. We will win more than 3 or 4 games in the conference this year.
We will need 6'6 Sarah Elliot to really do well inside as this is a small and young team inside. I think 6'6 female basketball player is like a 7'footer in men's basketball, so we'll need here to do well inside. The perimeter, led by All-SEC SG Sarah Potts, should be the strength of the team.

I think they've got an excellent shot at a winning season. And I agree, we're not there with Tenn, Georgia, LSU yet. But given this is the first year with players Mickie's actually recruited and she's well on her way. Elliott does need to have a good year. But we'll also have Roddy (who I keep hearing really good things about) and Humphrey banging around on the inside to help out as well.
With Phillips and Potts coming back, I do think we'll be stronger at the perimeter, at least in the beginning. Give everyone a few games under their belts though, and you never know what could happen.
