I think it's interesting that Demoss was hired as assistant at Univ. of Texas less than 90 days (July 3) after she resigned from her position at UK to enter into "retirement". Someone or something must have really set her off.

There is something about all of this that just doesn't "feel" right IMO. I fear we may never know the true story.

There is something about all of this that just doesn't "feel" right IMO. I fear we may never know the true story. She had to be involved in something that did not sit well with Barnhardt. Notice that he is not pursuing the non compete clause in her contract. You don't just walk away from $800,000 if you don't have to. I think she was asked to resign and the reason was one that she did not want made public.

Not so sure this time. If it is embarrassing to her, she won't talk about it. Barnhardt does not leak anything. Texas staff, I don't know, however since she is an assistant, I doubt that many there know the real reason. About the only ones who know and might leak something would be Dr Todd and the legal staff. A tight lipped bunch all around.
