I couldn't agree more! But, since he's black and a democrat, he won't be shamed out of the race. We all know what would happen if he were white and there was even an appearance of a connection to racists or racism. But, I don't want to go off on a tangent, this kind of connection should disqualify him as a presidential candidate...as one who would lead us all.

You guys are entitled to your opinions, but there are some pretty ignorant lines in that video.

At one point it said something about how can we trust a president with three Islamic names... That right there is a pretty racist line. Islam does not mean evil. There are some pretty horrible Muslims, but there are also horrible people of every religion and way of life. Also, Obama is not even Islamic, so there should be no issue.
This election isn't showing a clear front runner for me. I actually like all three candidates right now and am anxiously awaiting the Dem's to have a clear candidate. I think the debates this fall will be interesting. This is unlike the 2004 election where I didn't care for either party's candidate.

How about his latest afiliation; Wiliiam Ayers-cofounder of the radical left organization Weather Underground? Remember those guys....they bombed the Capitol Building, the Pentagon, the U.S. Dept. of State building, etc?
People, Sen. Obama has terrorist links and friends! Wake up America! Learn something about the man and realize that he should not even be considered for the presidency.

Guys, I guess experience and time, especially the last few months, have taken something out of me, but I don't see much of anything changing whether it's McCain or Obama that gets elected. Until the economic crisis, the dependency on foreign oil, and/or the credit crisis is really felt by the rich...nothing will really happen to right the ship.
I'm voting for McCain. I think he's by far the best qualified for the job, etc. I'm just not sure it will make a difference though.

When it comes down to it, you could pretty much associate any politician with people that don't represent their beliefs or ideologies.
You could blame any one in congress in the 80's for supporting Bin Laden and sending money to Afghanistan to fight the Soviets... and that money may have later gone to those in the Taliban. Or what about our prior relations with Saddam? I seem to remember a clear pic of Rumsfeld shaking hands with Saddam in 1983 after being sent by GHW Bush.
You can play "six degrees of Kevin Bacon" with all these guys and I'm sure you can end up making a connection with Obama and Ted Kazinski or McCain and Charles Manson.
I was pretty upset that McCain has resorted to getting "dirty" by bringing this up... actually he's having Palin do most of the trash talking (like VP's often get assigned to do). I was equally dissapointed to see the Obama campaign bring up the savings and loans scandal that McCain was loosely associated with.

Yeah, better for us all that they address the real problems facing us. And they are REAL.

I have to disagree that it makes no difference who wins. The next president could appoint two or more Supreme Court justices. McCain's appointees will be moderate to conservative, Obama's will be far-left liberals. He could do some damage that is long-lasting. If you live in Ohio or any other state that is in play, PLEASE get out and vote for McCain.

You can't prove that McCain won't pick a hard right winger. He picked Palin, a hard core right winger to be the VP candidate to please the base, whose to say he wouldn't do the same for the Supreme Court. We're screwed either way.

This election is about change as so many have stated already. Both Obama and McCain represent change in my opinion. Now the question is what kind of change do we as a nation want? With Obama I think we get a lot of social change that may or may not be to your liking. McCain has a history of bucking the status quo and a real history of bipartisan work in the Senate. His social values come much closer to mirroring mine than does Obama's so I'll be voting forr McCain. I don't think Obama is a terrorist or even supports terrorism, but I do think that his history has proven that he'll align himself with whichever group or person he see's will further his cause. That to me is a bit scary.
