Spectre you must not watch O'reilly lately because if you did, you would notice him bitching about the ratings. Namely that Keith Olbermann has been dominating him in the ratings the last couple weeks and now Bill O is trying to say there's a left-wing conspiracy in the Nielsen ratings. Maybe its BS like that that makes people not want to watch Fox. Fox News is not the #1 news network, if you really believe that then I bet you're a huge Sean Hannity fan too. Umm, what the hell are you talking about? www.usatoday.com/life/television/news/nielsens-charts.htmwww.nielsenmedia.com/nc/portal/site/Public/menuitem.43afce2fac27e890311ba0a347a062a0/?show=%2FFilters%2FPublic%2Ftop_tv_ratings%2Fcable_tv&selOneIndex=1&vgnextoid=9e4df9669fa14010VgnVCM100000880a260aRCRDwww.mediabistro.com/tvnewser/ratings/And Rasheed Kaleedy (sp), who this whole story is about, recieved $500,000 from McCain and a group he was part of in the early 90's. So now John McCain is giving large amounts of money to radicals that don't have our country's best interests at heart? This is another non-story, seriously I could care less about either candidate's association with this guy. Why won't conservatives talk about the economy, or healthcare or real issues? Ever wonder why McCain is gonna lose this election? If you think conservatives haven't been talking about the economy then you haven't listened to anything McCain has said in the last 2 months, which doesn't surprise me. If you think that Obama has a plan that will actually help this economy, then you don't know anything about the economy at all.

Well, tomorrow my wife and I will cast our votes. However, I'm afraid that it's a done deal and Sen. Obama will be our next U.S. President.
How many votes casted tomorrow will be in support of Sen. Obama instead of a mandate against the Bush administration? IMO, revenge will not be so sweet for some folks.

Spectre, you got me there. I should have specified the 25-54 demo that O'Reilly calls the key demographic.
As far as the economy, there's really no sense in arguing now that the election is over, but if you think lowering taxes and then spending ten billion a month in Iraq for god knows how long is the way to fix the economy, then I don't know what to tell you. Thats the recipe Bush used to double the country's national debt in his 8 years in office. The concept of national debt is something that Republicans seem to ignore nowadays, like I have said before, if there was a real fiscal conservative I'd probably vote for him. RON PAUL

RON PAUL Trust me, President Bush is NO fiscal conservative. I shutter at the thought of the money/resources we've spent in Iraq. I do think you keep taxes as low as possible and do the kind of slashing in government spending that Ron Paul called for. I do wish more people would have listened to him, but he was a voice in the wilderness. President-elect Obama would be served well to remember the backlash that President Clinton received when he went far left with his policies in 93-94, when the dems controlled the House and Senate. Building a bigger government is NOT the answer to our problems. It is quite the opposite. I hope that Mr. Obama sees this. He is a very smart guy, so we'll see.

Well it's all over but the crying now and we will now see what type of country we'll have in four years now that the liberals control it all. What's really sad is that this election was not about who could do the best job or even what color a man's skin is. This election was about moving away from the Bush doctrine as fast as we can. Unfortunately John McCain was a Republican at the wrong time and Obama just happened to be at the right place at the right time to get elected.
I did not vote for Obama, and I don't think he's the man for the job, but I hope I'm wrong and I will certainly be praying that God will lead him.

I did not vote for him either, but I will support him as much as I can. If he goes far left, I will not be able to support him, but we'll see. I will pray for him as well as he will be our president and it's important, IMO, that we keep him in our prayers.

But really it was about the US going back to being the country everyone loved and admired. Instead of War-mongering, money/oil hoarding and trying to bring on Armaggedeon(to prove the bible right, LOL). Something to ponder. ED

It was many things to many people. If this turns out to be the best thing we've done in a century you won't hear me complain about it. If not I'll just try to make a difference next time.
