Rondo notched his first career triple-double and Ray Allen scored 31 points, leading the Celtics over the Pacers, 114-96 on Wednesday night for their 10th straight victory. Read more hear at ESPN

Rondo is a star in the making guys. His confidence is growing as are his stats. He'll definitely be an all star within the next couple of seasons and perhaps even this season. He's that good.

I really think being on the Celtics has been a really positive thing for Rondo. The big three, especially KG, really seem to be taking him under their wing and helping him to build confidence. The attitude of the team and coaching staff can have such a huge effect on a player.

Asked if Rondo might be expected to total a quadruple-double, Rivers joked, "Yeah, with turnovers, maybe. It's possible. I mean, there's very few guys that have that ability. There's only been about four or five of them. He has the opportunity, someday. Hopefully soon. He has speed and quickness. There is a complete difference - there are a lot of guys who aren't fast runners but have great first steps. Rondo's one of the exceptions; he has both. Rondo's a playmaking guard, and for our team, it's the perfect fit because we have so many scorers."
