So after reading where McHale is being forced into the coaches job with the Timberwolves, it got me thinking, who was worse as a GM, McHale or Matt Millen with the Lions.
McHale: Traded Brandon Roy for Randy Foye, traded OJ Mayo for Kevin Love, traded Kevin Garnett for Al Jefferson and cap space players (as if clearing cap space has EVER attracted a free agent to play in Minnesota) and got caught trying to do an under the table deal with Joe Smith that resulted in the loss of 1st round draft picks every other year for l0 years (I think that was the punishment or it was very similar).
Millen: 2nd highest paid GM in the NFL, horrible draft record picking multiple busts (often a WR), winless on the road from 2001-2003.
Discuss.

I don't much about the Minn situation, but I do know that the Lions have always sucked and Millen just guarantees that every season.

Too close to call, but McHale traded Mayo away. Deal done, Mayo, not a fan of his, but what an upside. Millen bad and bad, but McHale badder and badder. (??)

I don't know who the worse GM was, but the Lions have to be the worst franshise in sports. IMO
