TLANTA (Jan. 22) - Kentucky and West Virginia -- where people traditionally smoke the most -- have the highest death rates from smoking, a new federal study has found. Rounding out the 10 states with the highest average annual smoking death rates were Nevada, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Arkansas, Alabama, Indiana and Missouri. Link

It figures that Kentucky would be the only state where the average cost per pack is less than $3.
I realize that tobacco is Kentucky's big cash crop, but there comes a time when we need to learn to grow peanuts or something.
