absolutely. He admitted to using the cream and clear. It turns out those are steroids. Therefore, he used steroids. Asterisk.

I am 100% positive he took steroids. But until it is proven I think we should wait for the asterisk.

I believe one of these days either the commissioner will do something about it or, senator Mitchell who is head of the committee looking in the steroid thing will have something to say about it , then there is Mark Mc Guire....

I hear what you guys are saying, but the problem is much deeper than that. Most of the known steroid users are pitchers, not hitters. Just how many of them would be pitching now without steroids? Most of the 95 mph fastballs of today are assisted. Baseball has its work cut out for it. And after the strike years and excessive salaries, the fans are getting a "I could give a xxxx less" attitude. Baseball has seen its glory years.

Well I for one can't stand Bonds, but if anyone thinks that Aaron or Ruth could hit 700+ home runs against today's athletes has another thing coming. There weren't that many pitchers that could pitch like pitchers do today. Perhaps the hitters are juiced a little, but seymour has pointed out the pitchers have juiced arms as well. Let the record stand for what it is. No need for an asterisk IMO. If it had been Ken Griffey Jr. most of us would have been in his corner. Bonds is a jerk and so he gets the treatment of a jerk.

If Griffey Jr wouldnt of of been hurt the first 2 or 3 years in Cincy he would of been the one breakin it.

In 5 years this won't matter because A Rod will break the record.
