I'm sitting in the airport right now anxiously awaiting my flight to start boarding. I'm taking vacation from sunny SD to apparantly, wet and soggy Kentucky (I promised my family I'd bring some sunshine with me).
I haven't been home this time of year in ten years, so I can't wait to get there. Not to mention, the bbq fest will be going on in O'boro... so I've got my camera charged and ready to take some pictures of the "interesting" ppl I'll see there. I'm also ready to pack on some lb's from stuffing myself with chopped mutton and burgoo. If time permits, I might head to Bardstown and do a little bourbon tasting.
Any of you guys planning on hitting up the bbq fest? I'll post some pictures of my trip on here.

I guess I'll miss the fest, but I love the mutton up there!

Hey Cody, You from the Big O? I grew up there but I live in Louisville now. I also agree with Bluecat. The best BBQ in the world. Old Hickory is my favorite. I get a couple of lbs. of chopped mutton every time I go to visit my Dad. That is making me hungry.

No water for 5 days and counting. Mud is 2 feet deep in many yards, including mine. Some roads are not safe cause of undercutting. Below is a pic. Keep in mind that the block is 4.5ft high.
