Two of the best teams in the NBA, Celtics and Rockets, are playing right now. It is really cool seeing Rondo and Hayes on the court at the same time.

Rondo got a technical tonight, perhaps his first. He got in a shoving match with Alston. Mutumbo got all in Alston's face. I guess Cookie Monster doesn't allow his teammates to get into scuffles.

Nazr Mohammed not doing too bad either ... Nazr Mohammed added 16 points and 14 rebounds. Bobcats 94, Heat 82.

I like seeing both Rondo and Prince playing significant roles on each of their powerhouse teams. Neither are "the man" but both are vital to the teams success. Tayshaun is already considered almost "all world" on defense and Rondo is quickly making a name for himself.

Walker on the hot seat.
Update: Walker did not play Sunday's loss to Seattle and was in street clothes. He'll remain with the T-Wolves the rest of the season after he was unable to reach a buyout of his contract with Minnesota before Saturday's waiver deadline.
Analysis: Don't expect Walker to play much the rest of the season - if at all. The T-Wolves will go with their younger players the rest of the way. Walker could be traded this offseason, but his $9.3 million expiring contract next year will be valuable to rebuild.

Bogans is averaging 10.4 points per game in five March games, his highest monthly average since December, a month in which he was a nightly starter.

Magilore was inactive for his second straight game Friday night. He has yet to suit up for the Mavericks since joining them earlier in the week.
Magilore still needs time to get comfortable with his new team. Reserve Malik Allen filled Magilore's role scoring eight points off the bench.

The bench is long and effective, with swingman Kelenna Azubuike, Mickael Pietrus and Matt Barnes all 20-minute guys who contribute on both ends of the floor.

Derek Anderson had a season-high 17 points for the Bobcats. Charlotte starters scored just 36 points.

The Knicks coach has given significantly more playing time to young post players Wilson Chandler and Randolph Morris, which has led to limited production and the accusation of intentionally tanking games to improve the team's draft position.

Thanks for the updates Spam!
I hope to see UK getting more players back in the NBA. Its kind of sad to think that Rondo is the only player to get drafted from UK in the last 4 drafts.
Granted Morris, Hayes, and Azubuike found their way into the league...
Judging by the progress that Joe and Ramel made this season, BCG will be turning these guys into the players that they want to be.

Rondo is shooting 49% from the field and 30% on his 3 point shots. He is averaging 4.1 rebounds, 5.1 assists, 1.7 steals, 10.6 points and only 1.7 turn-overs per game.
I just wish Tubby would have let him run the offense like Doc Rivers has for the Celtics..
