He has his own Web site, his own Nike Camp invitation and a year of varsity high school basketball under his belt. He's been spoken of in Sports Illustrated and on ESPN. All in all, not bad for a seventh grader. There is more hype than just Michael Jordan's son in town this week for the AAU 13-and-Under National Championships. O.J. Mayo, the player some say is the next LeBron James - and others the next Danny Almonte - is in Memphis tearing through the competition as part of the massive, multi-site event that continues through Sunday. Mayo scored 30 points to lead his Ohio D1 Greyhounds to a 93-25 rout of the West Virginia Heat on Wednesday. It was just the latest of their lopsided wins; the Greyhounds beat their other two pool play opponents, 88-22 and 91-45. He played to a jam-packed gym on Wednesday at Ridgeway, with many clamoring to get a glimpse of a player many have pegged to be the Next Big Thing in the mold of former University of Memphis player Dajuan Wagner or Ohio high school senior James. "I don't know, I don't feel I've accomplished anything yet," said Mayo, whose team plays at 1:45 p.m. today at Briarcrest. "One of my goals is to just get this national championship. "I'm just being O.J. I'll let LeBron be LeBron. There's been a lot of comparisons. My goal is to be better than him or Michael Jordan."
