Spring football practice starts in eight days for the University of Kentucky and Joker Phillips has many questions that must be answered. First, who’s going to lead the 2010 UK football program? Will it be Mike Hartline, Morgan Newton or Ryan Mossakowski under center when the Cats take on the Cards.
Both Mike Summers (OL Coach) and David Turner (DL Coach) have their hands full heading into spring. UK lost four Senior’s on the offensive line and soon to be NFL player Corey Peters on the defensive line. The Cats also played two Senior Linebackers (Johnson and Maxwell) who will be hard to replace. Who’s going to lead the defense? It’s just not going to be the same with out #4 pointing and making plays.
The UK coaching staff has their work cut out this spring and I have confidence the Cats will be playing in their 5th consecutive bowl game.
