I'm indifferent. I can see where it would be great to remember those people lost, but we have a Memorial Day already.

There definetly should be a Monument. As Far as a National Holiday, i could support it or not, its not like anyone will ever forget it, thats living now. Its the Future Generation that it would benifit the most.

Same here, monument and memorial of course, but not a holiday. We remember the dead on Memorial Day, whether they died in combat or in a national tragedy, or were a dear loved one, and Memorial Day should remain the National day of rememberance.

Looks like most of us are in agreement. Monument and memorial, but no additional holiday.
