Tony Trocha, one of the more intriguing prospects in the 2013 class may now be on Kentucky's radar for 2012.
The 6'10" native Colombian has already taken his SATs in hopes of enrolling in college early as a member of the class of 2012.
Trocha, who boasts a 7'5" wingspan, has a unique combination of size and athleticism that would make him a hot commodity in a waning 2012 class.
Trocha is currently ranked as the No. 59 player in the class of 2013 by Rivals, but would have likely seen a huge rise in the rankings with a bit more exposure and experience on the AAU circuit this summer.
Kentucky, LSU, Texas A&M, UCLA, Oregon, Ohio State and Providence are currently on his short list. (From Nationofblue.com)

Update from the KSR Blog:
"Don’t give up on Kentucky adding Tony Trocha to the 2012-13 roster just yet. On Tuesday, Trocha’s high school coach said he expects Trocha to reclassify and Kentucky is one of the top two schools in contention when he does. ”It looks like he’s going to be 2012,” the St. Thomas High School coach told The Cats’ Pause. “I’d put Kentucky & Texas A&M as the top two.” With Kentucky believed to be a co-leader, expect John Calipari to have Trocha on campus as soon as he returns from working out the paperwork in his native Colombia later this week.
The mysterious big man has an offer from Kentucky and Calipari is one of the few people to have actually seen Trocha play in the States.
Keep that in mind while you’re scrolling through recruiting websites, wondering why he isn’t listed by any of the services. This is one Cal sniffed out (with a little help from Providence) and evaluated with his own eyes at a high school game back in March. We’ll trust his judgment. He has a pretty solid track record when it comes to recruiting."
The last missing piece for next season?

This would certainly be an interesting pick. A likely multiple year player with lots of upside. Yeah, I think he'd be a good get at this point.
