Great article, that is the one about Calipari (or coaches) not devoloping NBA players.... Here's what I see YES five star recruits certainly help as Davis was going to be great no matter what! However, Harrelson, Liggins and Miller are fine examples of Cals magic....... For that matter, Cousins and Liggins were examples of attitude problems that ofcourse Cal handled... Looking back i truly wonder just how great Rondo would have been as Calipari would have been the perfect fit...... Cal is a great at getting the most out of every individual and creating a family first environment....... Id hate to be the coach who replaces Cal one day!!!

"Cal is a great at getting the most out of every individual and creating a family first environment." Not only has Coach Cal handled every attitude problem, he has blended his 5 star recruits so they play as a team. "Team First" is a problem most college coaches face.......not Cal and his staff, they recruit the finest talent available and make it a point during recruitment, "we will help you get to the next level, listen, do what we require, and the pieces will fall for you to get your dreams." A great recruiting tool for Cal and the staff.......every starter and every 6th man, that have entered the draft, in Cal's three years, have been drafted.......NO other University can make that claim. Granted, the players UK bring in have tremedous talent, however, Cal's greatest "tool" is the way he "motivates" his players to be all that they can be. The "Kentucky Effect".......the greatest effect in college basketball!!
