"The big news of the day was word that Blake Griffin had twisted his knee, prompting Team USA to summon Anthony Davis to Las Vegas to train with the team. Coincidentally, Team USA scrimmaged against Calipari’s Dominican Republic National Team on Thursday night, and predictably, routed them 113-59. Davis started the fourth period and finished with nine points, including a three pointer, after which he threw a three goggle and pointed at Cal. Davis ended up guarding 16-year-old Karl Towns, who looked pretty impressive himself. But, for Cats fans, the night belonged to Davis, who scored Team USA’s last points. Get used to seeing Anthony in red, white, and blue. On Thursday night, CBSSports.com’s Ken Berger announced that Griffin will miss the Olympics due to his knee injury, which was later reported to be a torn meniscus. Yahoo’s Adrian Wojnarowski cited sources close to Davis that said he has officially been chosen as Griffin’s replacement." From the KSR Blog!! Griffin's misfortune is AD's good fortune.

SeattleCat, I've always claimed the "oldest guy on this board" title, but it looks like you're pushing me!

The 3 goggles at Cal were indeed awesome. Was also awesome to see the rest of his team embrace him when he made the three. Gonna miss seeing him play as much as last year, an incredible young man

SeattleCat, I've always claimed the "oldest guy on this board" title, but it looks like you're pushing me! Well, I see you are 65. I turned 63 just a month or so ago!!! You still have the "honor." ;D

I'm really not sure that I own this title, but no one else seems to have tried to claim it! I can tell you this -- many on this board know a lot more about Kentucky basketball than I do, so I often keep my mouth shut! Anyone else out there over 65?
