A day after releasing its All-American teams — featuring Alex Poythress (Second Team All-American/All-Freshman) and Nerlens Noel (All-Freshman) — The Sporting News released its preseason college basketball Top 25 rankings. Check out the top 10… 1. Indiana 2. Louisville 3. Ohio State 4. Kentucky With Kentucky, the thing to do is trust that coach John Calipari has attracted enough talent to replace the truckload that just left of the program. It’s also safe to assume he will find the correct formula to mix the players he has gathered into a championship contender. It’s conceivable the Wildcats eventually will hit a snag, and if ever that’s going to happen, it’s now, with a point guard in Ryan Harrow who never was considered an elite prospect. But who’s betting against them? — Mike DeCourcy 5. Michigan 6. Duke 7. Syracuse 8. Arizona 9. NC State 10. Missouri Don't know what the heck DeCourcy is talking about.....when Ryan Harrow was coming out of high school, he was a 5 * with both rivals and scout!!

Harrow is in his 3rd year of college and his 2nd under Cal. I think he'll be fine running the show this season. This team may take some lumps early. I don't know why we open against Maryland and Duke back to back. That's daunting even for a team so talented because they're young. However, nobody will want these Cats in their bracket come March!
