INDIANAPOLIS – In a testament to their resiliency and a statement of their strength, the University of Louisville powered through the shock of an injury to sophomore guard Kevin Ware to defeat Duke 85-63 to earn their second straight trip to the Final Four. LINKI started watching this game almost pulling for Duke to upset UL, but then I got a close up of Rat Face working the refs and remembered so much of why I can't stand Duke and started pulling for UL to trounce the Devils. I'm a little sick to my stomach that I was pulling for the Cards but I'll get over that. The look on K's face when he knew he had no shot was priceless. Watching Duke I came to a realization that they have great tradition and have had some extremely good teams, but those days are gone, and I think K's days are numbered. Duke will continue to be a good team, but even with the recruiting class they have coming in next season I think they will be a team that is mentioned season in and season out as a threat to win it all only to fall short in the big games. Wow, that sounds like Indiana too. lol

I think you hit the nail on the head earlier when you said if K had coached his players as hard as he worked the refs, they might have made a game of it. That, in a nutshell sums it up: he doesn't coach so much as he intimidates refs. Then when you get a crew that doesn't call every little ticky tack touch, K doesn't have a backup plan.

This is the worst type of game...you just hope they both lose. I decided pretty early on that I could stomach a L'ville championship better than one for Duke. Few things provide more irRATional joy than K's sour grapes...

I have a feeling Pitino would've kept the press on if he was up by 40 with the memories of 92 in his mind had the unfortunate injury not happened something tells me him beating Duke was sweeter in his mind than if he had beaten us last year in the FF......This FF is hard for me cause i have been raised to HATE everything Louisville but i feel so bad for Kevin Ware

Way to go little brother!!! Bring another one back to the home state! Was priceless seeing K on the side staring at the court and not saying a word because he knew the refs were not calling his game and it was futile!
