Just when we thought Harrow had no place to go and would be back at Kentucky its being reported that Ryan Harrow will indeed transfer. For whatever the reason I wish him well and hope that he is successful. Kentucky guard Ryan Harrow is transferring to Georgia State, sources told CBSSports.com. LINKThe 6-foot-1 Georgia native began his career at NC State, and left for Lexington after one season. He sat out and then had a tough campaign under John Calipari. Harrow averaged 9.9 points and 2.8 asssists in 27.1 minutes but missed several games early in the season when he returned home. Kentucky wound up making the NIT in a season that failed to live up to lofty expectations.

Can't remember exactly where I heard it, but I seem to recall having heard that Harrow's father had a stroke. His official reason for transferring was to "be closer to his father." Maybe I need to dig a little deeper to see if I can confirm the stroke issue. I know Harrow caught a lot of flack this season, but quite frankly, we have been exceptionally spoiled at the PG position the previous 3 seasons. I think Harrow is a very talented player, but perhaps not mentally strong enough to handle the pressure that came along with following in the footsteps of Wall, Knight and Teague.

Yeah, I read somewhere that his dad had a stroke as well. I hope it all works out for Ryan and hope he is able to some day make a living playing basketball.
