gainesville.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20061130/WIRE/211300360/-1/newsMany folks are going to be disappointed. There is only one way out of Iraq and that is to defeat the terrorists by establishment of a fair and equitable goverment. Anything less will continue the fighting until the people of this country get tired of the effort. They will then pull out and the terrorist will move the battlefield to another country. Eventually the new battlefield will be the USA. As I said, we must defeat the terrorists in Iraq or face some serious consequences.

I disagree. This region has been slaughtering each other since the start of documented time and it's not going to stop unless the 2nd coming happens. This sectarian violence is based on religion; one side believes the church should be run by a direct descendant of Muhammed while the other believes they should elect an official to run things. We can't tell who is with which sect by looking at them, we can't tell who to shoot and who not to shoot until a gun is pulled and the violence levels speak for themselves (was Thanksgiving Tet#2?).

Was watching TV this AM and they said that the terrorists had opened a new front against the USA. Apparently they are planning to disrupt our financial instutions by using the internet system to disrupt our stock market exchange.
They must be defeated in Iraq without regard to whether or not it is possible. If we don't, we will be fighting on multiple fronts and guns will not be required on most of the fronts. Better believe that we have no choice and better believe that backing down militarily is not an option.
They may very well fly their flag over the White House.

The problems being faced in Iraq are multiple. First, you do not have a middle class as we know it. You are either wealthy or dirt poor.
