Could have happened anywhere, it is so sad. My prayers go out to the families, this is not the kind of education they sent their children away for.

Just unbelievable what has happened. When I first heard the news I immediately thought of my daughter who is in highschool, and looking at where she wants to go to college. I was at work when I heard and just wanted to grab my kids up and hug them. Then it struck me the horror that the parents of the slain kids must be going through.
I'll for sure be praying for their families that God would be a comfort to them. May God bless and keep them.

My mind just cannot wrap around the senselessness of this entire event. The number of lives ended and the countless others whose lives have forever been changed...as BC said, it makes me hug my daughter a little tighter and remember you can take NOTHING for granted.
I try to watch the stories so I can try and understand what would make someone do such a horriffic thing, but the whole thing is so sad, I can't watch the stories more than a minute or two at a time.
May God help comfort these families as only He can.

My sadness has increased greatly. I just discovered one of the victims was the daughter of a good friend of mine with whom I graduated high school. She was identified later than many of the victims because she wasn't carrying any identification. Her dad (my friend) was in a building next to where the shootings occurred waiting to teach a class later that day. He heard the shots, but wasn't aware his daughter was killed until Tuesday morning. He and his wife had been going to the area hospitals hoping she had survived. But authorities showed them a picture of their unidentified victims on Tuesday morning and they were able to identify their daughter. Bryan's wish was for the "world to know they lost a very special person when Austin Cloyd was killed Monday." To Bryan and your family, as well as all the families affected in this horrendous tragedy, my thoughts, deepest sympathies and heartfelt prayers go to all of you.
