These are the 8 main candidates listed by the Washington Post.
If you had to pick on of these guys who would it be? (regardless of your party affiliation)

I'm more of a green party kinda guy, so I went with Ron Paul.

I like McCain and Huckabee. Huckabee may not be the most qualified, but I can't help but like him when I see him in the debates.
I really cannot stand Romney or Thompson.

I like Huckabee overall, but I'm not sure how much of a real conservative he is. Same with Romney. I like Thompson, but he doesn't have a chance to win in the general election.

This is the side of the ticket from which I will choose. Yet, I'm still undecided.

Well I'm not a conservative at all so that's probably why I like him. I'm more of a moderate democrat myself.

Well I chose Huck in this poll, but mostly because of McCain's age.

Is any republican candidate interested in ending the war in Iraq? I don't follow politics and I'm curious.

As far as the GOP's go, I'm a fan of McCain. He's not the most enthusiastic or charming candidate, but the guy knows what he's talking about and knows how to get the job done.

Good point BC. Unless these candidates are seriously demented, they all want to end the war. They're just have different timeframes and ideas. Ron Paul just speaks out against it more than other GOP's.
I'm pretty liberal, but I'm cautious about an immediate pullout like many people want. If we're not careful Iraq could end up being much worse that before we showed up.
