And by the way, I was under the impression this was an open forum and could be utilized by all members, regardless of the timing or opinion. I didn't realize we all had to share the same opinion you hold in order that our posts be considered valid. You can post. No problem with that. But if you fail to give rational support to your argument, plan to hear about it. Finding all of the things that go wrong in one game and using it to say everything is wrong is invalid. You did not post about similar things when all was going well against the likes of UNC and IU and claim that everything was great. Neither did I. That would have been lousy support and wasted your time reading. If you give logical reasoning, we can have a nice, constructive debate. If you give strong opinions with illogical support, it will be called invalid. I try to make sure I give concrete support for any of my points so I don't waste your time reading unsupported statements. I hold others to the same standard. Fair enough?

I didn't record earlier posts teddy because I just found the site. As you can see to the left of posted remarks, it specifies the number of posts made. But rest assured, if the unlikely happens and Tubby gets things turned around, I will be happy to say so. And afterall, that's what we all want as KY fans I assume.
However, if you are suggesting that all is well with the KY basketball program, and we're heading in the right direction with no problems, then not only are your suppositions irrational, you're down right crazy!
Again, I'm new to this forum, but so far, I haven't heard any of your so called "concrete support".

I didn't record earlier posts teddy because I just found the site. That's okay. As long as you're on here after a big win evaluating the game in the same way. "Which team had a better game plan and executed better?" "Which coaching staff obviously had a clue?" As quick as you were to start asking those questions after a loss, I'm sure you'll be equally as quick after a win, now that you've found the site.

Tubby hasn't figured out that the state of Kentucky is full of talented high school players, many who can actually make a 20 foot jump shot. Maybe he should consider hiring Cameron Mills to do some scouting. Sad to see Josh Carrier ride the bench...hope he isn't thinking about transferring to a school nearby who's coach figured that out about 10 years ago.

Maybe I should explain why I put such an emphasis on giving solid support for your claims. During the Auburn game on the road in 99-2000, the team was close to going to overtime. A friend I was with said, "Oh no. We all know Tubby doesn't do well in overtimes." Actually, at that point he was 4-0 in overtimes here (he's now 7-4). Perhaps it was Tubby's predecessor (a horrendous 1-6) that she was thinking of.
The point is this: many people have already decided they do not like Tubby. That's fine. But they then start spouting claims about his coaching inability without support (and often when the facts contradict their claims--as in this example). That is irritating.

Frankly, UK has has a couple of former MR. KENTUCKY BASKETBALL players on the team now, that have been disappointing so far. They might catch up with the talent on the UK level, but they both still have a way to go. Good luck to both of them, hope the get it in gear and start to show something at a competative level soon. High school is way behind them now.

Hey TedRay, I think we posted at the same time. My "frankly" remarks were about the statement that Kentucky high school players were being overlooked by our friend, triggmontgomery.

i am by far and away not a orlando supporter but i dont think he is still there beacuse of his color i think he still there because the AD then wanted him i was hoping Barnhart would evaluate him after this year and go with someone else but after i read where he said orlando was doing a GREAT job( and he did say GREAT, not a good job) and then he hires a football coach that was a loser at the RAMS and defensive cordinator at the Falcons ( one of the worse defenses while he was there) i begin to wonder if there is some kind of conspiracy to undo UK sports

Dude, the Falcons went to the Super Bowl while he was their defensive cooridnator. The Rams were 13-19 under him in the mid 90's and were 7-9 his final season.. Let's not forget the Rams and the Bengals were the two worst franchises in the 90's. So if you think about the personell this guy had, 13-19 isn't all that bad. He also went to the Rose Bowl and won National Coach of the year.

Dude, I'm not a dudette. I'm a dude. That is not me in those pictures.
BTW, dude you can only acheive what your talent level allows you to achieve. Maybe it was you or someone else arguing the only reason UK beat UofL last year was because the talent level. Atlanta or Saint Louis wasn't exactly known for having the most talent in the world.

Man, with the NFL changing players and parity like it is in the NFL, it is tuff to really judge an asst. coach (by the way, parity s%'s) over such a short term. However, if Dan Reeves trusted him with his defense so long and they went to a Super Bowl, that say's a lot. GOING TO A SUPER BOWL, even as an defensive coach is something to be proud of, I cannot see ragging on him for that. That would be like beating your own kid because he only scored 29 points in a game you wanted him to score 30 every game. Being a UK fan is as bad/good as being a Dallas Cowboy fan, before salary caps, parity and all that crap. They were supposed to, at the very least, be in a Super Bowl every year.

WHY do some people continue using RACE as an issue is beyond me. OOPS, darn near forgot what happened to me when I was in the hospital 3 weeks ago. A BLACK man was in the bed next to me and the BLACK NURSES and AIDES could NOT do enough for him. They were damn near ALWAYS in the room aqsking him if they could BATHE him, CHANGE his sheets or anything else. They WALKED RIGHT BY MY BED and DID NOT ask if I wanted MY SHEETS changed. AND, I ask them if I was CHOPPED LIVER to which they asked me if I WANTED something. I told them that I would like my ^*()^#@$%^&*(*(* SHEETS CHANGED RIGHT FU%&*%$ NOW and that thier DISCRIMINATION against me was totally UNWARRANTED because I am NOT A WHITE MAN. That really messed with their minds. NOW, a POSSIBLE REVERSE DISCRIMINATION suit is being strongly considered because I REFUSE to allow RACE to play a part in ANYTHING in my life. by the way, the hospital in question is CARITAS in Louisville. They also are not very high on personal hygene due to the FACT there is NO SOAP in the room and when my room mate left the hospital all they did was CHANGE the FRIGGEN SHEETS and NO sterilization at all, AND, they did not clean the room the entire 6 days I was a patient. They also air on TV and Newspapers that they opffer the BEST CARE IN KENTUCKY. WRONG!!!
