At the beginning of the year I said: We would win 20 to 22 games before we entered SEC Tourney play. We won 23. That is a plus. I said we would make it to the final 16 round and lose. I thought that would be a fair year, but if we made it to the Elite 8 it would be considered a plus. Give us a plus. I said not to worry about this year. To give this team a year because of the youth. No grade Next year is the year that I said expectations of a Final Four are EXPECTED. The longest time in UK Basketball history of not reaching the Final Four is EIGHT YEARS. That means if we don't reach it next year we tie the record (NOT GOOD by UK standards). I feel that the grade Tubby receives depends on next year. The standards speek for themself. Tubby is a good coach but if he wants to be considered a great coach he is going to have to do what Rupp, Hall, Sutton, and Pitino have done before him. That doesn't mean a final Four every 8 years. I must say the emphasis on Tubby's performance is good. Nothing more, nothing less. UK has been great. Tubby needs to step it up a notch or two.

Very well put gentlemen. Both of you guys, I agree 100%. It is time to step it up, in that I refer to your comments above.
You guys know me, TB, I stand in complete admiration of every player whom has ever put on the UK jersey. UK has a following like no other college program ever, like no other program will ever have, No Duke, nor Kansas, not MSU, nor UNC or any other will ever match.
Final fours or not, the UK fans whom follow follow our great players should continue to hold there heads high as the premier program now, yesterday, and tomorrow.
