Ahgggg, he won't be back anyway. I really sincerely hope not!! I'd rather go to war with some fiery hustling overachievers as opposed to one of the supreme underachievers like Morris.

Man, those two teams playing in the NBA right now are two pure hustle machines.
Morris would not even belong in the same gym as any of those guys on either team.

I truly think you'll be wrong on this one, I think Morris will realize he has to improve on his game to make it to the NBA. I think we'll see a completely different guy with ALLOT more desire.. JMO Snick, we'll see and I hope that I am wrong but I just do not see an energy/desire transplant taking on Morris without some real bootcamp sort of tactics on Tubby's part. You could be right, Morris could truly be a DUD.. However' IF he returns I'm hopeing for the best because I still feel like were a "quality" center away from an NCAA championship IF everything falls into place.. I say this because we allready have the main ingredient = Rondo... Add a few great studs around this guy and we'll be just fine...

I bet if Morris comes back, he will be our best center and average 10 points and 6 boards. He most definetly will be our best center and I think we REALLY need him to have a GREAT shot at an NCAA title.. A motivated Morris could go along way because this kid has potential.. I hope he realizes it's time to prove how good he can be... Yes, also it must be noted that in the Courier Journal Article, Tubby was quoted as saying he had no problem in the way this was handled by Morris. I can link it again if anyone doeasnt remember. I do know it is "Coachspeak" for we want you back, but still it tells me if Morris wants to be a cat...he will be a cat. AND, he will be the piece of the puzzle needed to bring UK back to the ladder under the basket days.

Morris has shown us Wildcat Fans NOTHING last year and hasn't even exerted himself in the NBA tryouts and hasn't even gone to a few that he need to. What makes some of you Maniacs see him as the missing piece of the puzzle for this coming year? I just cannot see Morris all of a sudden becoming the fierce competitor that we need at the 5 position. While "possibly" less talented, I would rather see Woo and Alleyne get their rewards at the 5. Tubby seeming to act like nothing has happened (and that may be the public face he is putting on) just indicates to me one more time how easy going and non driven he is as a coach to take us back to the top. I'd rather see a little more Bobby Knight fire out of Tubby even in public in saying that Morris needs to earn his way back, Morris certainly needs to come ready to play more than he did last year, he wasn't brought into the initial thoughts of Morris possibly turning pro, etc., etc. Is Tubby going to have to change his diaper every time things don't go Morris' way??

I hope Tubby and the Staff are dictating to Sir Randolph their expectations of him and not listening to our savior returning and telling what he needs out of Tubby and the Kentucky Program. Morris SHOULD NOT be in the negotiating position!!

I'm not disputing what Morris did was WRONG, but with or without Morris I would still believe we are one quality (Morris type) player away from an NCAA championship.. I (personally) saw allot of potential in Morris last year, but his biggest weakness could be a lock of desire. IF Morris plays up to what I personally feel he's capable of then YES he is the missing peice. Just my opinion.. I just think the trio of Orbzut, Alleyne and Morris would be so dominant.. I feel there would be a void if it were a dou of Orbzut and Alleyne, but time will tell. For this team to recover from both departures of Morris and Azubuike could be tough? I just want an NCAA title and I think even with Tubby's offensive schemes we are close this time.. This team IS a final for team because were led by Rondo, simple as that.. Rondo will take us there.. Yes he will!!! However, it sure would be great if he had a potentially dominant center in Morris to feed it to.. Yes I don't agree with what he's done, but he is just a kid and he's worth taking a chance on. This is just my opinion.. Man I can really type when I'm hanging out with pink floyd

This will wind up exactly like what happened with Brandon Bass.

Morris SHOULD NOT be in the negotiating position!! No reason to believe he is. This is good news for UK Golf, if indeed this works out. Like it or not.... in todays game personalities are part of the equation.

I agree totally that there is a talented player inside Morris somewhere.
I would just like to strike the word "potentially" out of your quote!!
I can recover and forgive Morris for the fax situation, the idiotic run at declaring for the NBA draft and even from the dispersions cast at Tubby by Mr Morris.
My problem with Morris took place long before the NBA draft situation and it was the lack of effort and enthusiasm that he showed last year and Tubby seemed to accept it and kept starting him.
I just hope Tubby is a little tougher on him if he comes back.

I just feel like this is typical Tubby ball - just lack the killer instinct when it really counts.. However, I still think Rondo will overcome this because not even Tubby's system can hold this kid back and I'm serious!!!!!

i really don't see how someone could not take this NBA rejection as a wake up call. if anything could make morris wake up and get motivated this should be it. i think we will see a much better morris next year if he comes back. and while i agree that attempting to enter the draft seemed insane it really wasn't all that crazy considering he was projected late first round until recently. i think he is smarter than most give him credit for just a little immature which will diminish with time.

It is also possible he got way too much credit to begin with.
