I have been going to concerts since about 1977 when I was 12 and I have to say that the Red Hot Chili Peppers concert I got to attend a few years ago was one of the best. Lots of people who are not all that familiar with the RHCP don't realize what tremendous musicianship exists in that band. I had 9th row on the floor...center...pretty daggone good...at Rupp...for the RHCP show. The guys had not one bit of arrogance about them...they were just like they were one of us (the audience). I find that trait appealing. And they left nothing onstage...they gave every ounce of blood, sweat, and tears they had to give in their performance. That is a cool thing too. I left that show thinking, "Man, these guys gave us our money's worth for sure." Probably some of the more notable shows I got to see was Fleetwood Mac on the Rumours Tour AND The Eagles on the Hotel California Tour...both in 1977. It would take me some time to list all of the great ones I have been fortunate enough to see live. Oh. The Stones twice. Unfortunately, I did not get to see Lez Zeppelin before John Bonham's death. I had to settle for seeing Page and Plant on their tour. Don't get me wrong...that was great. But it still was not Led Zeppelin. Peace Out... In the 70's I saw Boston(That show ROCKED), ZZ Top, REO Speedwagon(Saw them in Tampa Bay, FL), Journey, BTO, Aerosmith(They were at their best at that time not so commercial as they have been the last 15 years), KISS(With their make-up on)(Saw KISS without in the early '80s), Ted Nugent. Man the 70's ROCKED!!!!!!ED

That was a cheesy attempt at humor if there ever was one...

How could it do anything but help us having students in these seats the entire time the other team is warming up? They could make it so there are only like 2 isles and pack 900 or 1000 people in that area. Of course they would flatten it out a bit so the people behind could see (just as they do in the eRUPPtion zone, but moving 400 people back 5 rows to fit twice that many people in their spot isn't such a big deal IMO. I'd even be fine with this. That end of the floor is dead silent. Wouldn't it be better if it looked like this? Alright, and now something we can all agree on.

For some reason I circled her with a heart. I think I was drunk. I've got to get back to studying. Tests are in 5 hours. I probably won't post much for a while after this as I'm going home tomorrow for a few weeks. Take care all.

Sorry number 4. I don't agree that it should be a student section. If I'm at a game I'm up shouting and making some noise for my Cats. You young guys don't have the market cornered on enthusiasm. Besides it's the older guys that are footing the bill for most of you young guys to be there anyway. Now I'm sure that's not a popular belief, but Mom and Dad fork out a lot of money so you kids can go to school. Give up your seats to Mom and Dad from time to time.
