Ed, that whole generation and is it just those from Louisville?? That's like me saying that my cousin who is 20 years younger than me, while we were growing up in Louisville, was a little punk and therefore, all of those approx 40 years old today are are punks. Doesn't really make sense does it Ed? Sure it does. But as I don't see out of your eyes you don't see out of mine. Thats why this is "OUR" opinion. And in my opinion I'm right. Just as you are right in yours. But see I really believe that do you. Most people from the Korea generation doesn't see eye to eye with the people from the Vietnam. You get your opinions as you grow up. I assume you are 15+ older so you didn't "Grow up" in my generation as I didn't grow up with Kids and his views are alot different than mine as they are suppose to. Thats why they have a name for it, it is the Generation Gap!! It is real and it is the truth. Most groups with a 10 year difference in age will not think the same. Learned that in H.S. Sociology. And Golf to clarify I didn't post that anyone on this board is or was a racist. Because I never seen anyone being racist on this or any other UK message board. Thought I need to clarify that. ED great post

Well guys racism is a fact of life. It permeates all aspects of our lives including sports. UK sports are not immune to the fiery, hurtful darts of racism.
I have seen it on this board, but not by any of our current members. Those posters are no longer a part of our family, and are spreading their poison elsewhere.
Maniacs is by far the best board on the net, and it is so because of you guys. There are those however that are not of us that are among us that would turn this thread into something ugly so I am going to lock it now before things get out of hand.
It is for sure that Tubby will be under much less stress once we make the final four next year.
As for my opinion: I think there were 3 -5% of the UK fans that did not want Tubby as head coach because he was black. The percentage may have even been greater than that at first. Now however I feel that Tubby the man has really been embraced by UK fans, and the color of his skin is only an issue to a very small fringe group that we continue to marginalize.
