I am tired of what ifs, could haves, should haves and almost. It has been 8 years since our last Final Four. People we are talking about the winningest team in basketball. There is no excuses for this team we are fielding. It is time to produce Tubby. Bailey

Bailey, Tubby will not have a good regular season winning % to fall back on this year.
Fact is that we could barely make it into the Big Dance.
How long will this Program go with Mr Nice who is taking us down an additional level every year?

It is funny how none of the Tubby supporters can defend him if they can't use what if, could have, should have or almost. Bailey

You know what? Tubby supporters don't need to defend Tubby to you or anyone.
There is no sense to it. You are going to believe what you want, and you are going to say what you will.
No one owes you or anyone else a defense of why they support Tubby.
Just as you have your opinion the "Tubby lovers" have theirs.

BC, all I ask is that you are consistent when the Tubby Supporters do their "baiting" as you call it.

Anyone who makes a statement via forum or otherwise should expect a response. That's the way life works. If one makes a subjective, non-factual statement and essentialy claims a monopoly on the side of truth, it's only logical that a debate will ensue.

Debates are well and good, and fully endorsed, but personal attacks are not. Baiting with questions like "where are all Tubby lovers now" is just someone looking for a chance to wag their finger in someones face and say I told you so. You can do that somewhere else. This board is for Cat fans to come together and discuss the Cats without making things personal. Try bringing something constructive and positive to the board. You'll be received much better.

Golf, I think you know where I stand on this Tubby debate, and I can assure you that where I see baiting I'll call it out. We don't need it here and have been asked by members here to put a stop to it. Members that are here in the good and the bad are the kind of members we want here. Those that only come on board to spread negative crap need to go elsewhere. I'm not talking about questioning the coaching on things or the players. That's natural, but there are a few that never show up or make a post until they think they can spread their pitiful negative lives on to someone else. Am I ticked about it? Yeah, I am. I get tired of some never having anything good to say about the team or our coach. Certainly there are some good things that can be said.

Saul, i'll say this, even though you probably dont care about my opinion anyway, for the most part you are the epitome of what i disagree with when it comes to debate on this board because everything you say is negative about the current uk program. but you always have factual support for your opinions whenever you start a post, and i personally wouldn't put you in the same category. i feel that you dont start posts just to piss people off, you do it because you see something and you are commenting on it. same goes for golf, dont always agree with him, but respect what he has to say.
BC, good point in that we'd have one helluva time trying to convince guys like bailey, golf, saul, etc to like Tubby. its not gonna happen, just as they're not gonna convince me to say fire Tubby. have some praise on me too.
