I give you win. Now you have to live with it. You have Tubby as your coach you have Tubbys team and now you are getting a healthy dose of his losses. I hope you can live with it. All I can say is go ahead and ride this horse into the dirt. You wanted it you got it. You had better enjoy the Losses because the Wins will be few and far between. Maybe we should increase his salary to $3 million for the good job you think he is doing as a coach and recruiter. Bailey

This is getting ugly another HOME loss for Tubby. What the hell is going on. I know Tubby can't shoot for these guys but what? It is pretty bad when the announcer kept saying we have the same talent level as Vandy. NIT NIT NIT.

this is getting pretty bad, but that announcer is definitely wrong about the talent level. we definitely have more talent, its just that vandy always plays beyond their abilities and we never seem to realize our true abilities. i understand how frustrating this is but its not the end of the world. texas went away from home and got taken behind the woodshed by duke. they then followed that with almost as equally ugly loss to tennessee at home, and they seem to be doing pretty well for themselves. just give this team some time

"...vandy always plays beyond their abilities and we never seem to realize our true abilities." - rajon4rondo posted. excuses, excuses, excuses, excuses, excuses, excuses..... - how many different ones can the supporters dance to? Round and round we go and where we stop I believe everyone knows!! Tubby "ain't" the right guy and some are running out of excuses!!

Thomas played 23mins with 1 rebound and 2 pts. It is the same way every game. The Jr. class is what is killing us right now. 4 schlrs. were wasted on Perry,Thomas, and 14 feet of joke. Tubby needs to do better than that for 2007 if this program wants to stay above water. I love UK b-ball I hope it turns around soon. Morris looked good so hopefully he can get them to gel together and they could play better ball. If not there needs to be some changes. (Tubby)

(Tubby) Let's not forget about the freshman class that is "OFF THE CHARTS". A junior class that is a total non-factor with the addition of this years freshman class that is a real non-factor and what do you have?? Not a real good team. This year or next.

I think our chances of being real good are better next season. I'm not ready to write this year off yet, but I am starting to look forward to next year as I see possibility of some real positives for the team. Number one I think Randolph Morris is going to be back, and what I saw against Vandy makes me think he's going to be really, really good. Jared Carter is just a little physical maturity away from being a starter for most teams. Rondo I think will be gone and that will be a plus for the team IMO. Sometimes I think he's so good that everyone else is waiting for him to make things happen instead of moving and getting ready for the pass. Our guards coming in are going to be guys that are going to be the kind of guys that don't have the huge egos (at least from what I read). Rekalin Sims will be the PF that we hope he'll be. He should replace Thomas already. We'll still have some of that dead wood on the team, but we should be fine. Oh, and Crawford and Bradley will both be more mature with Bradley at the point and Joe at the two.
That's what I'm look for anyway.

You say now we have his losses. 229 wins compared to 63 losses. I'll take that anytime. That's better than UK's record prior to "The Man."

BC I hear what you say about next year but wasn't this year suppose to be the year? We will still have our 4 no shows as seniors next year and there is a good chance that Rondo will be gone. What are you basing your opinion on? I hope you are right. Bailey

Yes, you are right this was supposed to be the year according to some. I said that I thought we would be an elite eight program with Morris and Azubuike back. That didn't happen, and the elite eight isn't likely to happen either.
What I base my opinion on is Morris coming back as he has said he is going to. The potential of Jared Carter and Rekalin Sims on the inside as well. Crawford isn't going anywhere, and I doubt Bradley will transfer as some have speculated. That with a solid but not spectacular incoming class that features guards with size and shooting ability and one skinny powerforward that should be a nice compliment on the inside.
All that and a healthy dose of hope and prayer. It might not happen, but if the pieces fall into place we'll be pretty solid next season and possibly contend for a final four berth. Now, for that to happen we're going to have to see a lot less of Woo, Shag, Bobby, and Sheray, but hopefully we'll have guys that can keep them on the bench most of the game.
