I don't think so kj. Does Eric's even exist now? No, but it was a very good message board with free flow of all viewpoints. Kinda makes you wonder what happened doesn't it? I've heard that it was a very good board at one point, but something happened that led to it's demise. I certainly don't want whatever that was to happen here.

I have no problem passing judgement on Williams. I really have no idea why he was offered. He is a spectacular athlete, but when you are short, you have to be able to dribble or shoot, and he can't do either. His shot from long range is worse than Morris, or Shagari. Watching him in warmups, he'll make 1 of 10, seriously.

UNC and Duke have impact freshmen, and we have a guard who can't hit the rim or dribble. I have no doubt Adam Williams will never get serious time here at UK.

The guy on ESPN said that the UT coach has exceeded expections, but that at UK, you cannot exceed expectaions....you can only meet them...and Tubby hasn't done that since 1998 (with Pitino's team, I might add)....I agree with him....couldn't have put it better myself!!! Bad enough to lose to Florida...but Tennessee? ?....at Home? ? Time for a change!

recruiting mistake sparks did we pass on lofften fro tenn who kicked or buts all over the floor hitting 3 after3 after3 ,now that was a big mistake to let him go and take a nothing like sparks A nothing like Sparks? They weren't even in the same recruiting class. Besides Sparks has been the only effective point guard we've had all season. He may be a streaky shooter, but he's far from a nothing.

I think Sparks is one of the 3 most offensively talented players on this team. He really needs to be on the floor unless he's pouting.

sparks and talented shouldnt even be said in the same sentence..sparks may have been a good player at wky he may have a good game here and there but he should have a good game every night, they all should but sparks was a mistake and we have to live with it ,IT IS TIME FOR A CHANGE AT U K.......Tubby SMITH AND HIS WHOLE CREW NEED TO BE REPLACED

ksm, I think that Sparks and Sims(and some would say Rondo) are good examples of how talent and/or style can be easily altered negatively by Coach Smith. Coach Smith has been questioned his entire tenure at UK about his development of players.

Sparks, to me anyway, is one of the players on this team that is a team first guy with basketball savvy and is a floor leader. Streaky shooter, but very valuable to this team.

Sparks isn't the most gifted man we have on the floor by a long shot. In fact he may be the least athletic player on the entire team, but he was not a mistake, and is by far the best floor leader on the team. His shooting can be streaky, but Sparks can do so much more for the team from the point than just shoot. He sees the court better than anyone and is the best passer on the team. The biggest issue with Sparks IMO is that if he misses a couple of threes he gets pulled and then he gets down. Given the chance to play through games when he isn't shooting well I think you see a guy that can get you 5 to 6 assists per game. He is a defensive liability, but then again who hasn't been lately. Even Rondo has played very poorly on defense lately. I'll take Patrick Sparks on my team any day. I think in the right system he is much more consistent.

There is no way Nardi on Villanova is better than Sparks, but look at the difference in numbers from system to system... They are very similar in their skill level, but one struggles while the other is flourishing.
