This has probably been a poll before, but I've never seen it up in here before.

I used to be on the fence with Tubby but after what I have seen since I have moved back to the state these last three years, I do believe it is time to go. There is no excuse for the way this team is playing and the way he tries to coach them. Don't get me wrong I'm all for the coach being in charge and demanding the best out of his team but the way he punishes these kids for mistakes is ridiculous! it's not like they are doing it on purpose. They are kids and are going to make mistakes. His recruiting has killed the team. There is no resonable explanation signing Thomas, Perry, Woo, and Shag. who in the hell are these kids? If you look back at the schools that we were up against for them you can see why we got them! Granted he had a good class 2 years ago but gee let's see Crawford left in the middle of the season and Morris tried or the NBA. If that's not a distraction I don't know what is. Tubby HAS TO GO. But it's his choice.

Guys, I've felt for a couple of years now that UK would not reach the final four with him at the helm. I've never publicly stated that I didn't think he was the coach for us until this year. He just can't judge talent on the recruiting trail. The ones that are really good that he goes after all go somewhere else. I've said it before that you'll never convince me that the Dukes, Carolinas, UCONNS, and the Texas' have room for the best players year in and year out. Thats just not possible. There are better players out there that were not signed by the "Elite Programs" that weren't signed by us either. Someone needs to be held accountable for that. Like somone said the other night when we lost to Florida, "the #8 recruiting class kicked the #1 recruiting class' but tonight." If those were the "true" rankings, and I know no one knows how student athletes are gonna perform in college until they get there, then we shouldn't have lost the game by 15 points. I know that on any given night, anyone can lose, but we were totally dominated in the second half. That's a different ballgame altogether.

I still think that Tubby is a great coach, but as of late his coaching decision has made me question that statement. If Bradley messed up and Tubby felt like making him pay for it by not playing, thats his decision and I'm fine with it. Now Sparks not playing, I don't understand that. And with 3 minutes to go in the game, we're up by 1, and he decides to have Rondo slow it down. They fought back to get in the game by getting up and down the floor, and Tubby decided that a 1 point lead is enough to play slow down. I do understand that he wanted to go to Morris, but they had gotten him the ball fine when they were getting up the floor. Maybe Tubby isn't the coach to get us back to the FF. Maybe he is. Maybe he doesn't know how to coach McD's AA Maybe he does. Maybe he's sick of the pressure that goes with UK job Maybe he isn't
All I can tell is it seems like no one on the team is happy with Tubby, and Tubby isn't happy with anyone on the team. Hopefully they can put together another little run and make us all believers again!!!!

I've said he should be gone since 2000-2001. Really started disliking his style his second year here. The man is clueless about putting a team together, We either have no pg's or a half a dozen, no center or 4-5 that can't play a lick, no forwards- look at this year. Tubby has taken too many easy gets on the recruiting trail. His laziness has not paid off. Used to think he was a pretty good bench coach. I even wonder about that presently. Time has passed Tubby by and his inability to attract or get along with top talent shows this fact.
