Can you explain to me why Tubby did not call a timeout after Florida ran that high pick and roll for the umpteenth time and scored. No way around it this was a Tubby error, not a player error. You would think that a 2 million dollar defense specialist of a coach would have had enough wisdom to call a timeout and tell his team what to do. We played terrible defense. When will our 2 defense minded coaches teach our team to use their feet instead of their hands on defense? This can be seen in the free throw discrepancy of 37 to 21. Billy D flat out coached him. Billy D knew he had a problem on defense and brought in a specialist to correct it. Since then he has beaten us 3 times in a row. Tubby and his stubbornness hasn't figured he needs to do the same on our offensive end. Bailey

BC I removed "Tubby lovers" from my original post. I don't see where it makes much difference. It was used to point out that Tubby was wrong in not trying to correct the problem. In the CJ it said that Morris was trying to tell Rondo there were screens set but the noise was to loud. There were other ways of adjusting to the problem but Tubby chose to sit there and not react to the problem is the issue. Bailey

When there is a contest between teams of two good coaches, sometimes one coach will out perform the other and vice versa. Tubby has outcoached Billy several times.
I'm more concerned with the talent gap that UK finds itself in more often than it should. The recruiting failures of the last several seasons are not acceptable. The 1st step in righting this ship starts there. IMO

since Tubby has been here, he always has let other teams catch up, or go up by several before he calls a timeout.
