I hate to agree, but you are right Bailey. This team hasn't even come close to playing the kind of basketball that even OTS coached teams are expected to play.

Three McDonald's All Americans in the starting lineup. ......who care nothing about playing together led by a coach who has no clue how to manage them.

Well, I don't post any longer, but could not help myself here with this open topic. Man, at the beginning of the year expectations were so high. I went back and read some of the posts about what everyone predicted. This was the year that Tubby finally made it back to the final four was basically the theme. He had the talent and this was the year he blended this team together and proved all the disbelievers wrong. Shag, Woo would take another step forward and be big time contributers. Thomas and Perry would improve and take up for the lose of Auz and Hayes along with Sims who would prove to be a big time forward we had to have. Rondo was a guarantee lottery pick and be on ESPN high light takes all year. Crawford and Bradley would be unstoppable and Sparks would shoot the lights out. Morris would prove he was NBA worthy and come in with something to prove and dominate the inside. I will stop the rambling and ask, what happened?

We have players playing out of position, players being shuffled from point, to 2 guard, back to point, inside guys who aren't strong enough yet to bang with D-1 caliber players, a strength coach who was let go after years on the staff because our inside guys are now weaklings with a 15-8 record(all of a sudden we start losing and suddenly the strength coach is the scapegoat?), Psychiatrist is brought in to boost the teams morale, Tubby was preoccupied early in the season with looking for a fax from Morris back in the summer, etc.... Let's give this team a break. They have had so many problems and distractions that they just haven't been able to gel as a team. I'm sure that Tubby has a master plan to get the Cats back to the top. What can you expect from a future hall of fame coach? His impeccable record speaks for itself. It will be no time that this team will be back to the top. Tubby has just rolled up his sleeves. He's going to show what a true championship coach can do.

There was just a bit of sarcasm in that post Bailey. I will modify it so that no one will get confused about how I feel about our Hall of Fame coach.
