That only happens if the cork is pulled and the bathtub is drained ASAP. Let's not get all goo-goo over a lame win over a weak team like Arkansas. UK has won some weak games in the past, and does nothing when it counts since 1998.   |

Wow SHS, you upset that we came back from 14 down to win on the road? I'm ready for Tubby to step down as well, but he did a good job coaching today and the kids responded.
Arkansas has a decent team and we took it to them in the second half.
It's all good today.

His coaching in the 2nd half was better.
The 1st half he just like plays around with the roation and it is horrible.

I have stated on a few;) occasions that I would like to see change also. The Ark. game was descent all around Though. Tubby subbed in the first half, but that is where UK made it's first run. The starters weren't playing with to much of anything so the next group Tubby put in at least made a run. UK was down 10 to 5 and when he brought the starters back UK was winning 16 -13. The starters even built that lead to 26 - 18. Ark. got hot after that and hit some unbelievable shots in their 8 for 8 shooting period leading into the half. Some of the 15 footers and 3's they hit were off balance and falling over.
The run continued in the first 3 minutes of the second half. I think UK got out shot in that 9 minute span, but not out played or hustled. UK only got out played and out hustled in the first 5 minutes down 10 to 5. Don't get me wrong Tubby has made alot of bad coaching moves over the years, but yesterday he made the right ones including sitting MORRIS's LAZY tail.
He also switched D's several times and by subbing he flat wore out the ARK. Bigs. The smaller line up which I love was quicker and had more energy. Not to mention they doubled the post better with out Morris which is never in position to begin with.

What has made you to believe differently in the last 9 years? For myself, the 1 point in OT/the 1st Overtime away from a FF two years ago.... That said, I still don't think we'll make a FF this year or that Tubby is the man to be leading the most storied basketball program in the land.... I'll still cheer/support and cherish every win while also hoping I'm wrong though.... -D |
