Meh, no thanks to Romar...he had an outstanding recruiting class and hasn't done too much with it this year. Started off awful in the Pac-10 but has slowly turned it around and are likely to make the tourney. Paul Hewitt, Georgia Tech coach, correct? No thanks, hasn't done anything in a while.
Calipari could be a decent coach if he doesn't get in trouble. But I'd have to agree with the person above. Donovan should be first priority, then go after Crean if Donovan rejects us. The other coaches mentioned seem decent too but I want to see them prove themselves more. Not just one or two good regular seasons in a weak conference.

Just throwing a name out there... but what would people think of the considerations of Steve Lavin? I thought he was great at UCLA. He got a raw deal to be let go the way he was. Anyway, does anyone have opinions on Mr. Lavin?

Lavin is a joker, no way. I would be happy with Billy Gillispie at A&M. He is a classy guy and has built success where he has gone, regardless of tradition and resources.

Billy G turned Texas A&M around...and he did it quick. Maybe before long there might be a similar situation at UK where we'd need him. Hopefully Mitch never lets it get that bad, or for that matter Tubby. Tubby is a great coach, we just need him to prove it to us again.
