INCONSISTENCY dates back to even 2001

I know you guys know that team turmoil started it for me, not liking Tubby's style and now I have it recorded. DVR right before the UF game last week. The 2001 UF at UK game.

Tubby's talent was quite a bit better.
1st team
1. Smith 2. Fitch 3. Bogans 4. Prince and 5. Parker
2nd team
1. Hawkins 2. Blevins 3. Daniels 4. Estill 5. Stone and Camara on the bench.
How he did nothing with this team is beyond me, but they were as frustrating as this years team.

They lost 10 games started 3-5 were 13 - 7 going into the UF game, Was winning 45 - 31 at half and lets UF come back, but escaped with a 1 point 71-70 W to UF. The games before they fell down by 15 or so and come back to lose. IT HAS BEEN HAPPENING FOR MORE THAN JUST A COUPLE OF YEARS!! That was for all the Tubby lovers who think it is just the last 2 years we want to get rid of Tubby. They FLASHED A GRAPHIC SAYING UK HAD A 90% winning % in RUPP at that time. I BET IT HAS DROPPED SINCE THEN TO!!

I can't think of one person who I would take on this years team over 80% of 2001's team. It wouldn't matter any way. Tubby was Inconsistent then and is today.

Facts are his first 2 teams 98' and 99' were not his recruits, but talent was still coming to UK, now it is not. If it were not for his overachievers good 3 years Tubby's record at UK would be UGA or Tulsa ( HEY WE MADE THE TOURNEY )

I have been calm this year b/c the predictions of 12 to 13 losses is just around the corner and us so called non fans who don't like Tubby's style will be correct AGAIN. When is enough for the UK program?

I sometimes wonder if our infamous 3 year run could mostly be contributed to the presence of Chuck Hayes? Could one special player do that much?

Spam it may be. Chuck Hayes had more heart then anybody and worked harder in one practice than these kids do all year.

UK was playing the same style in those 3 years, but the kids had heart enough to win the close games. There were a number of close games in the 32-4 year UK got lucky and won the close games that year. Examples off the top of my head Daniels last sec. tip at MISS ST., HAWKINS of all people hitting a last sec. 3 at UT. Hey law of averages caught up with UK with UAB. You play with fire long enough you get burned. In this case flame out in the 2nd round.
